Had a really lovely weekend away, gorgeous surroundings, snowdon was an hour away but the drive is lovely so made it worth it. The animals were so friendly and adorable. Great communication and any questions were answered promptly. Thank you both, would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights in March.
Gavin messaged to give clear instructions prior to checking in and also what to do on check out day.
The cottage was lovely and clean with a games room and animals on site which was a nice touch!
It was also a 13minute drive from Rhyl beach,
Unfortunately a lot of the shops on the front were closed and they seem to be doing some building work along the beach, however, it was still a really lovely to walk and the weather was good too!
There’s also a waterfall and town a few minutes drive away where we stopped to get some food and take in the views.

Place was cosy, warm and has everything you need. Bedroom especially is a lovely room with lovely light and views out the back.
Kids really enjoyed the games room and outdoor games area on site and the hot tub is a great touch, although better suited to 2 people than 4!
It’s worth noting that the walls are very thin and with neighbours either side, which made it difficult for the kids to fall asleep in the front room one night. Also be aware there’s a skylight in the front room if using the sofa bed. It’s a dog-friendly place so if you’re sensitive to this it may not be for you as there were some dog hairs and faint dog smell on throws etc.
Only recommendation would be to have communicated in advance that the hot tub wouldn’t be ready until much later, if possible, as we all arrived very excited for a dip! 😁

The place is fantastic and allows dogs to stay which is great. Although dogs not allowed in the games room or outside games bit. Beautiful property and surroundings and it’s easy to get to places by car. Hot tub and view was amazing. Kitchen stocked well with lovely extra bits.

Beautiful studio, spotless inside and out, and the hot tub just topped it off . Peacefully quite always warm inside and lovely decor. Will definitely recommend to others.

We had a lovely short stay at Gavin & Nicky’s cottage. Very nice couple to deal with. Very comfortable bed and the hot tub was a total treat. Travelled as a couple but is ideal place for children, outdoor play area and more cottages to suit larger group. We visited Dyserth Waterfall, Rhuddlan castle and cycled to Rhyl Beach. The New Inn is a fabulous place to eat.

Gavin and Nicky were great hosts ensuring everything you could think of was in the cottage. Such helpful directions and a really beautiful place to stay. Being able to use the games room was an added bonus and the hot tub was definitely relaxing after the climb up mount snowdon! Thank you!

Had a lovely stay at no. 2 Dwylig holiday cottage.
Hot tub was a fab, so peaceful, our little one was so happy with mini golf, bowling and we tried football pool. The axe games was a winner. The llamas and sheep are cute. The cottage was immaculate. Bedding was lovely, bed was soft , nice pillows .
Shower was great 2 shower modes. Handy for little one.
We seen the Northern lights on our first night there. Few shooting stars Truly Magical . 💫
We hope to return again soon.

We had a great very last minute stay at this lovely lodge. The hot tub was fabulous after a busy day and the kids loved all the on-site activities. It was clean and well presented, as others have stated a car is definitely needed as there isn’t really anything within walking distance. My only suggestion would be some sort of blind for the sky light in the kitchen, where the sofa bed is. The room was super bright and this meant the kids struggled to sleep and woke up as soon as the sun was up, but it definitely wouldn’t stop us from booking again. A real little gem ☺️

Lovely stay.

Loved the peace and tranquility, hosts amazing, nothing too much trouble. If I had any whim would have loved a recliner in the garden, but that did not change my view of the place, and maybe a corkscrew would have been good, I can’t wait to return.. thank you so much Nicky and Gavin.

the location feels like the middle of no where but plenty of local shops, restaurants etc only 5 min car ride and then 10-15mim to 3 different super markets!

lots of things to do on site for kids too! we stayed 3 nights and only left once to go to Rhyl for the day!

Lovely, peaceful stay and the hot tub was a fab treat on an evening. My only misinterpretation when I booked was that we would be able to walk into Rhuddlan to the pub but that wasn’t really practical. However, there are plenty of good places to eat just a short drive away.

Thanks for an amazing stay, the hot tub was great and my daughter loved feeding the Alpacas and sheep. The lodge was a great base to drive to Colywn Bay and Prestatyn beaches which are lovely and very dog friendly. Anything we was unsure of we just text and had a reply straight away.

Superb location, great communication, loved the small touches. It’s clear Gavin and Nicky care about their guests experience, we will definitely return in the summer.

Beautiful Airbnb. Modern and spacious. Could do with a few more kitchen items such as a wok and more cooking pots. As no bbq outside so only indoor cooking if that’s your choice. Cute garden with hot tub (added bonus). So close to A55 so easy to get to locations. Nearest town just up the road for amenities. Deffo would use this place again. Loved it.

Gavin & Nicky we’re great hosts. The property was cosy and had everything we needed for our stay with a few extra personal touches. A folder with recommendations meant we were able to eat out and explore the surrounding areas and what a beautiful place it is. Their instructions to find the property were spot on. Thank you.

Well equipped cottage, well thought out design and perfect for dogs with the enclosed garden.
Hot tub was great, and a nice surprise to see the alpaca’s at the farm.
Smart TV and games was a nice touch.

enjoyed our stay at Gavin and Nickys air bnb, the cottage was quiet, quaint and peaceful. Ideal for some well needed time out from a busy life schedule. The amenities were great, enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and winding down after the drive up to Wales. Responsive hosts, if there was anything I wasn’t sure of how to find etc, I would ask and have a response within minutes :) keep up the great hosting, in late spring or early summer we will be back ❤️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LISTING !!

Great stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This place was honestly so lovely. I was shocked at how easy it was to find and everything was communicated so well from the hosts. The only downside was that we could not control the heating as the boiler was shared between three cottages but thankfully it did not impact our stay massively as we spent a lot of time out. I would just suggest that something should be done for the main living room area as that room was freezing during the night (it has the sofa bed). We made sure to keep all doors shut so the heat stayed in the bedroom.
The hot tub was perfect. We visited Wales to climb Snowdon so it was exactly what we needed upon our return. We will definitely come again.

Had a wonderful last minute weekend away here and it was fantastic! Lovely quiet location (which was also easy to find) with nice views and easy access to the North Wales coast. Everything was just like the photos, the tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits were a lovely touch. The whole place was brilliant and clean and we could not fault it. The bed is so comfy and the hot tub was amazing!! Would 100% recommend to anyone, thankyou for having us, we loved it :)

This was a perfect little getaway & just what me & my partner needed! The cottage was in a great location, not too far from shops & the town centre! Everything was perfectly clean & accessible and just very cosy all round! A perfect place to stay for a chilled weekend away!

Gavin and Nicky run a first class bnb, it was very clean and well laid out, the hot tub was great, we had a very relaxing stay. The cottage is very rural but not to far the local town. They are friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble.
We would definitely use them again if we venture that way in the future.

Such an amazing stay, the cottage is beautiful inside and out and the hot tub is a bonus. Gavin & Nicky where so helpful from booking to even booking an extra night when we got there. They would come out of their way everyday to check in and check the hot tub was still working perfect and check water level. I will be booking again in the future and bringing more family back. Me and my family stayed here for the weekend and I’m so glad we chose this cottage. It was absolutely beautiful and the location was lovely. Very spacious, it’s so much bigger in person than on photos. The hot tub was amazing and so was the view from the hot tub. Also the comfiest bed I have ever stayed in! I will definitely recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. Feels like your miles from everywhere but actually really close to all the lovely sights and beautiful attractions in North Wales. Gavin and Nicky couldn’t have been more helpful either so highly recommended.

Fantastic accommodation, very spacious in side with good utilities. Great view from rear garden, made most of it from the hot tub. Good privacy from the adjacent rooms with plenty of places to visit and get food within 5 miles. Easy access to the m55.

Beautiful place

Quite place, really good here perfect for me and my partner.
Hot tub could have been warmer for us but that was after a while sitting in it as you get used to the temperature plus we was out there when it was windy with snow showers so I could imagine in the warm it would be nice but that’s just our preference. Bed was comfy. Clean to a good standard. Everything you need.
We visited the kings head pub late Wednesday night around 8:30 and they gave us a warm welcome and still served us food which was very nice I would recommend it as it’s quite close by.
Hosts were very responsive to any questions we had.
On arrival we did find it very cold inside but after a message with the hosts they turned the heating up for us remotely but do check the temperature on the radiator as they was down on number 3, after that did get nice and warm inside.
Would recommend it!

We booked the night before our stay and despite the last minute decision to go, we were not disappointed!
Peaceful setting, but within a short distance of amenities so we could pop out for anything we needed.
We took our 7 month old and our 2 dogs and we had everything we needed. The beach nearby was stunning and ideal for walking the pups, as was the nearby waterfall.
The hot tub was ideal for 2 and was a lovely setting to relax and look at the stars once the little one was asleep.
Would highly recommend!

Great little cottages in a fantastic location ! With everting to hand . They have eve thing you need and are in a real quiet location

This is one a number of cottages in a converted barn on a farm. It has a kitchen/diner with a v comfy sofabed, and a plusher bedroom with comfy double bed. Outside there is a small garden with a hot tub (which we didn’t try out!). TVs in both room. The kitchen is quite well equipped, but eg only 2 wine glasses rather than 4. Dishwasher (no tablets though) was a bonus. Very quiet and actually quite easy to fine. Clearly been used by lots of dog owners as there was a relatively stong “dog” smell in the bedroom.

Perfect location for relaxing but close enough to everywhere with the expressway being a few minutes away.
