Dwylig Isa Cottages are a small complex of 5 tastefully designed one and two bedroomed holiday cottages close to the small village of Rhuddlan. Nestled between St Asaph & Rhyl, perfectly situated for exploring the coast and countryside of North Wales
A complex of five gorgeous North Wales holiday cottages, Dwylig Isa Holiday Cottages are located just a couple of minutes off the main A55 and are accessed by a private lane and set in the quiet rural location. Whilst it is a quiet & peaceful location, the quaint village of Rhuddlan with its 13th Century castle built by King Edward I is just over 1 mile away from us and the town centre of Rhyl with its beautiful beaches, promenade & harbour are just a little further at 3miles.
We’re also 20 miles from the stunning town of Llandudno and its glorious coastline. Great Orme & the beautiful and stunning Snowdonia National Park are just a little further up the coast. All of this means we really are perfectly located for those who want to experience all that North Wales has to offer and from a relaxing & peaceful base with our gorgeous views, private hot tubs and beautiful sunsets.
We have five gorgeous holiday cottages with hot tubs, each with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Three of our cottages have one bedroom, another has one bedroom and a large studio room and the fifth has two bedrooms. We are happy to combine cottages to accommodate larger groups. Dogs are welcomed in all of our beautiful properties.

Stressed out from our busy lives Gavin gave up his job as a Senior Manager working for Royal Mail in 2018 and after us setting up a double decker soft play business (which we still run to this day) we decided to take the plunge and start converting our house into holiday cottages.
We started the conversion as we were living in the main house and what is now Dwylig Isa Bach 2 became our first holiday cottage opening and taking it’s first booking in September 2019.
We’re very proud of what we have achieved here (in spite of the additional challenges of Covid19 and the lockdowns) and want to share it with as many people as possible. We absolutely love it here and still pinch ourselves because we feel so privileged to run such a beautiful set of boutique holiday cottages.

Of course! Please complete the contact us form with your requirements (dates, numbers and combination of cottages) and we will come back to you with a quote. We are happy to take larger parties and the whole site can sleep 24, however we do not take hen or stag parties as the village doesn’t really have the amenities for them.
All the barns have one allocated parking space. In addition we do have some limited visitor spaces that can be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please contact us to reserve.
You can cancel at any time until 6 weeks before your arrival date. If we can rebook your stay to someone else we will return your payment in full less a £50 admin fee. If we are unable to rebook we will only retain your deposit. If you wish to cancel within six weeks of your arrival there is a sliding scale for refunds. Please see our full T’s & C’s for details. During the Covid pandemic if you are prevented from travelling or we are prevented from hosting your stay due to government guidelines a full refund will be offered. If you are not legally prevented from travelling but would rather not then we will be happy to rebook your stay to a later date.
